Nancy -
Growing up in Hong Kong has made Eastern philosophies a big part of Nancy's world, especially in regard to health and diet. Much of her understanding of energy flow and organ function comes from her early childhood understanding of Meridians and Chinese medicine, and her current study of martial arts and herbalism. This was further enhanced by her education at Brenneke School of Massage ten years ago. She enjoys sharing that understanding and incorporating it into her work in order to enhance her guests' wellness and assist them in reaching their treatment goals.Candise -
Candise was pursuing education in Psychology before choosing the field of Massage. Her passion for massage embraces the profound correlations between the mind, body and spirit; bringing honor and intention to her practice. Her goal is to assist clients to feel empowered and inspired while achieving the experience of balance and well being. She is also a Reiki II practitioner and certified in Theta Healing. Her intuitive abilities allow her to focus on the client's core issues, releasing tension and stress on various levels. She is an artist at heart and expresses creative talents through painting and drawing.Brigit -
Brigit joined us from The Rock Spa at the San Diego, CA Hard Rock Hotel. Originally from Philadelphia, she has been practicing massage and performing spa services for 8 years. Before studying massage, Brigit was in nursing school and has acquired a broad knowledge of anatomy and physiology which she applies to her practice. She has a great "bedside manner" to help her guests feel at ease and she loves giving a therapeutic treatment-style massage.Quincy -
Quincy is a native of Washington, where she received her bodywork education from the Northwest Academy of Healing Arts. Her passion for massage is her second profession; in her other life she trains search and rescue dogs! Working with animals has helped her develop a very intuitive nature which makes her bodywork a profound experience. Quincy most loves to perform wraps and scrubs because they can be such a unique experience, while also providing excellent benefits to her guests.Nicole -

Of Thai and Chinese origin, Julie came to us from Vietnam. We are very lucky to have so many internationally experienced and dual-licensed creative professionals, and Julie is no exception. Quiet in nature, she prefers drawing in her free time. It shows in her work, as she excels at creating beautiful nail designs. In addition to proficiency in manicures and pedicures, Julie also has "the touch" when it comes to relaxing facials and skin care.Younghee -

Most of our spa services require nothing more than arriving at Penterra to begin your own spa experience. However, for a few treatments, just a little advance planning will ensure you achieve maximum benefits.- Massages: Please let your therapist know how he/she can improve your treatment, for example, use heavier or lighter pressure, or if you have a particular area you'd like focused on.
- Body Treatments: (scrub/exfoliate) Please limit sun exposure in advance of your treatment and use proper sun protection afterwards. We recommend you refrain from shaving the day of your exfoliating service.
- Facials: We recommend removal of contact lenses prior to your facial. We also suggest that men who shave do so at least 3 hours prior to a facial.
- Waxing: Hair growth should be 1/4 of an inch for all waxing services. Please allow 24 hours after sunbathing or using a tanning bed before waxing. Prior to waxing, refrain from physical exertion. Optimal results are not achieved when skin is hot or moist from perspiration. We can not perform waxing on clients taking Accutane, Retin-A or antibiotics, due to skin sensitivity these prescriptions cause.
