Kirkland Easter Egg Hunt - April 5, 2015

Join the festive fun at Peter Kirk Park on Easter Sunday, April 5. The annual community celebration starts at 1:30 p.m., as kids go in search of 30,000 or so chocolate eggs scattered around the area. The Kirkland Kiwanis Club has been putting together this popular tradition for the past 40 years. With different areas of the park reserved for different age groups, your little one will have the chance to uncover some treasures to take home. Take your toddler to the playground for the Easter Egg Hunt for ages 1-4. The Pre-K kids ages 5-7 will wander around the outfield of the baseball field. Older children ages 8-12 will snag their sweets at the west side of QFC.

All in all, there will be activities and fun for the whole family to enjoy. The adults can stand by and cheer on the youngsters as they sweep the field clean. The festive fun also includes costumed characters dressed as animals like ducks and bunnies. For more information about the Easter Egg Hunt, you can call (425) 828-0231 or visit kirkland.kiwanis.org.
