Downtown Kirkland is a vibrant, waterfront neighborhood with a variety of activities, shops and restaurants.

And the best part is, our hotel is located smack dab in the middle - right in the heart of downtown.

For all the things you can do, let’s focus on the food and drink.

First, you might have heard, but if you didn’t, we’d like to introduce you to our new restaurant located in the lobby of our hotel - Hearth!

Drawing inspiration from the unique bounty of the Pacific Northwest, Hearth offers innovative dishes and an ever-evolving menu.

The ingredients we focus on are from all corners of the region and we use traditional hearth oven cooking techniques to cook a lot of our food.

The bustling bar features distinctive craft cocktails and a variety of wine, beer and cider that rotate weekly, showcasing local favorites.

If you’re looking for a great happy hour, look no further than Hearth.

Happiest of hours is available 3-6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close, every day, restaurant-wide.

Come on in for a lively atmosphere and munch on elevated bar snacks and shared plates.

Another reason to #gatherathearth this Fall, is to watch the Seahawks games, both home and away.

The first game of the regular season is Sunday, Sept. 8 at 1:05 p.m. Pacific.

We will feature a special “Game Day” menu that will include flatbreads, wings, brats and more.

Come on down and experience the warmth of Hearth for yourself.

Second, if wine is your go-to beverage of choice, the Kirkland-Woodinville area has you covered.

Woodinville Wine Country is located just 20 minutes northeast of Kirkland and offers more than 110 wineries and tasting rooms.

And the best way to experience it is their “One Pass. More Pours.” special.

Just savor these numbers:

With more than 900 wineries, Washington State is now the second largest wine producer in the country, and Woodinville is where it pours.

So, the tasting possibilities are nearly endless.

Want to know where to start?

Your Woodinville Wine Pass is your digital ticket to custom tours and discounted tastings throughout wine country.

Each pass is delivered instantly via text message or email.

In just seconds, your pass is in hand and you are ready for wine!

You are sure to have a grape time (pun intended).

And don’t forget to take advantage of The Heathman Hotel’s complimentary SUV service.

We will drive you anywhere within a 10-mile radius of the hotel on the Eastside - including Woodinville.

Wine will also be the focus on Oct. 25!

The Kirkland Zombie Wine Walk kicks off at our hotel at 6 p.m.

Grab some friends and embark on a wine adventure through Kirkland downtown galleries, boutiques and businesses.

Meet winemakers from some of Washington’s finest wine producers, and breweries.

Sip, stroll and shop around the northwest’s prettiest waterfront destination.

You can even come in costume for extra fun - actually, costumes are encouraged!

If sitting while drinking wine is more your thing than walking, check out Canvas.

There you can sip on wine while you paint.

You can relax in a social group setting as an artist will guide you through replicating a featured painting, step-by-step.

By the end of the session, you will be amazed at the artwork you created.

Finally, there is one more location you should visit if you enjoy wine.

The Maison DeLille Wine Lounge in Kirkland.

Just steps from our front door, as well as the Kirkland waterfront, the wine lounge is a second location and small event space of DeLille Cellars.

There you can relax, taste a variety of wines and listen to live music.

Established in 1992, DeLille Cellars is a boutique Artisan winery located in Woodinville.

Their legacy is in pioneering Bordeaux-style blends, both red and wine, in Washington State.

Cheers!

Kirkland is your perfect home base city for your food and wine adventures.

It is situated far enough from the hustle and bustle of Seattle, allowing a peaceful, tranquil experience, but close enough to an array of attractions and activities.
