Lively, Scenic "Sailgating" Husky Cruises from Carillon Point
Husky Sailgating Cruises
October 17th (5 pm) & 31st
November 7th & 27th
1200 Carillon Point
Kirkland, WA 98033
One of the all-time best teams in college football, the Washington Huskies draw fans from near and far. If you've got tickets to a home game at Husky Stadium, easily the best way to get there is "sailgating" on a Lake Washington boat cruise aboard Argosy's Champagne Lady. Sailing from Kirkland's very own Carillon Point - just five minutes south of our hotel - it's the ideal way to avoid gameday traffic and tolls, while traveling to and from the stadium safely (and having a lively good time with fellow fans, of course!). Boarding time is always 2.5 hours before kickoff, followed by a prompt departure 30 minutes later.
The Champagne Lady sails every UW home game. The next team to meet their fate in Husky Stadium are the Oregon Ducks on October 17th (boarding at 5 pm), followed by the Arizona Wildcats on October 31st, Utah Utes on November 7th, and local rivals the Washington State Cougars on November 27th.
More About the Home of the Huskies
Both historic and thoroughly modern, Husky Stadium has housed the team since 1920, recently receiving a $280 renovation between 2011-13. Nicknamed "The Greatest Setting in College Football," the Home of the Huskies is shaped like a "U," with the open end zone overlooking Lake Washington and the Cascade Mountains. Not only does the unique shape allow for postcard views, crowd noise is also enhanced, making it one of the loudest stadiums in the world.
