Raised in Virginia's capital city of Richmond, Nick Turner studied acting at George Mason University and has gone on to become one of the hottest comedy acts on the stand up scene today. He made his TV debut on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and in 2011 he was named a "New Face" at the 2011 Montreal Comedy Festival. He has also performed at premier showcases like the New York Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival and Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival. Nick also just created, wrote and starred in a preliminary show for Comedy Central called "Crazy House."
Called "The bestthing that's happened to the East Side," the Laughs Spot is an upscale comedy club that is a newly renovated, 200 seat theater with state of the art sound system and no obstructed view of the stage. The club features a new national headliner every week and open mic on Tuesdays to discover the newest star. Bring your date to enjoy drinks and a full menu serving appetizers, salads, sandwiches and salads. You will definitely want to try a signature cocktail, like the skinny root beer float or the standing ovation.
