A tell-tale sign the holidays have arrived in Puget Sound, Argosy Cruises offers a month worth of seasonally themed, carol-singing ship parades to the shores of local communities, November 27th through December 23rd. Gorgeous sights to behold both aboard the boats and onshore, we're proud to host the Seattle Christmas Ship Festival in Kirkland more than any other city on Lake Washington. Starting with the very day our city's lights come aglow during Winterfest, you'll want to be sure to secure tickets for the cruise on November 29th.
Just a short five-minute walk from your suite at The Heathman, the Christmas Ship Festival departs from Kirkland City Dock at 5 pm sharp. Passengers are welcome to board as early as 4:15 pm, which we recommend doing. Onboard, you'll enjoy time with Santa Claus, a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas," a belly bouncing Ho-Ho-Ho Contest, children's crafts, a full bar, and boxed meals at a nominal fee. Tickets are available for either the Christmas Ship itself, or one of its following Parade Boats, the only difference being that the night's choir is actually aboard the former.
Your Cheer-Spreading Itinerary
No matter the ship you choose, the gorgeous vocal stylings of Master Chorus Eastside will be broadcast to every vessel, as well as eager crowds around bonfires on the decorated shores of three Puget Sound locations, including:
- Kirkland Winterfest Tree Lighting Ceremony
- Windermere Beach Club
- Gas Works Park
Upcoming Kirkland Sailings
If you miss the festival on November 29th, mark your calendar for future Kirkland sailings on December 5th, and the 19th-23rd, all with the Dickens Carolers.
