Park to Park Open Water Swim

Help raise money for kids in need by enjoying a fun, non-competitive swim across Lake Washington at the Park to Park Open Water Swim on August 24. In its 9th year, this annual fundraiser has raised more than $100,000 to help support Seattle Children's Hospital. It's also become a popular event for swimmers, spectators and volunteers, who gather to enjoy the last of summer, while giving back to their local community.

Launching from Matthews Beach, the swim spans 1.42 miles across Lake Washington. Each participant will enter the water in groups based on similar swim speeds. Although it will feature plenty of support from safety boats, the event is intended for strong swimmers who are able to complete the swim in less than two hours.

Registration fees are $65 and no event day registration will be allowed. Fees include a discount at Everyday Athlete, breakfast at Denny Park, a swim cap, event T-shirt and bus transportation. Swimmer packets and numbers will be available for pick up between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. the day of the event. Although guests are not required to fundraise for the event, they are encouraged to make donations to help support this important cause.

Get out and enjoy the sun, while supporting this important community event to help children in need. To register for the event or donate to the cause, visit the official Park to Park Open Water Swim website.
