One of the most majestic sights at sea is a tall ship, sails taut as it cuts across the water. Of course, the only thing more impressive than witnessing such a beauty in action is riding aboard her deck. That's exactly what lucky attendees at the Tall Ships in Kirkland event can expect - firsthand tours and cruises aboard the Hawaiian Chieftain, along with the official State Ship, an aptly named replica of the 18th century sailer, Lady Washington.
